DevFlow
About

We watch the contract between systems.

DevFlow Monitoring was founded in March 2021 by Marcus Holloway (ex-Datadog) and Priya Iyer (ex-PagerDuty) after they spent the prior decade watching customers find regressions in their APIs from the customer side. The product is the focused tool we wanted, and didn’t have, in those jobs.

Team

Marcus Holloway
Co-founder & CEO

Marcus spent four years at Datadog working on Synthetics, where he kept watching customers find out their APIs had broken from their customers. He started DevFlow with Priya in 2021 to put the API contract — request, response, latency — in the same place teams already watched their infrastructure.

Priya Iyer
Co-founder & CTO

Priya led the alerting platform at PagerDuty for three years and built the first version of Stripe’s API analytics. She runs DevFlow’s engineering org and writes the postmortem for every Sev-1 we’ve ever had — there have been six.

Jonas Lindqvist
VP Engineering

Jonas joined from Cloudflare in September 2023. He owned the Workers KV team during its hyperscale years and rebuilt our edge probe network in his first six months — the 14-region quorum is his work.

Head of Customer Success

Kelly has been the first call for every Tier-2-and-up customer since April 2023. She is the reason DevFlow’s NPS is 71 and the reason we have a long memory about every account.

Values

We watch the contract. Not the server. Not the log. The thing your customer’s code depends on.

Boring is the highest praise. Reliability tools should not surprise you. We optimise for predictability over excitement.

We dogfood every part of the product. Our own status page is built on our status pages. Our own pagers fire on our own SLOs. If we wouldn’t use it, we don’t ship it.

We hold ourselves to public SLOs. See /status for our targets and attainment.
